This plastic item came from the Expo Hotel in Barcelona.

Stole this myself. (2004)

Bolsa higiénica (starfish)

This is the Spanish version of the Bulgarian starfish that appears elsewhere in the Gallery under "Hygienic bag".

Thanks to Oliver Conradi. (2006)

Bolsa para los paños

Dedicated to St George, the patron saint of sanibags. From a hotel in the Canaries.

Thanks to Bruce Kelly (2007)

Boma

I'm confused. I thought that a boma was a compound with mud huts and a thorn fence in East Africa. It seems I was wrong: it's really got something to do with dripping taps.

Thanks to Johannes Bosma. (2005)

Brown Paper Goods

That's the bagmaker's name (on the reverse, from Waukegan, IL), not the name of this very pretty rose. It says it's a "Fresh Scent™ Disposal Bag", but any perfume that may have been there originally has long since wafted away.

Thanks to Petr Manda (2005)

Bühlmann Fenner

This generously proportioned, flower-strewn, tastefully designed Sachet Discret is "pour ce qu'il ne faut pas jeter dans le WC". It's also copyrighted - so I'm expecting to be sued any day for including a scan on this site.

From the Hotel Bristol in Zurich.

Thanks to Regine Mathias. (2006)

The Bull, Blackmore, Essex

Wander into the Ladies in this picturesque half-timbered pub, and you might find one of these rather-less-picturesque bags.

Thanks to Sheila Mundy (2006)
