luftwaffe01

Luftwaffe

From a Sikorsky ch-53 helicopter belonging to the German air force. No instructions: just fill the bag and drop it out of the gun bay.

Thanks to Christian Becker (2003)

luftwaffe02

Luftwaffe (smaller)

Phantoms must be more stable that helicopters, or maybe the pilots are better trained. Or perhaps they just eat less. This bag is a fair bit smaller than the helicopter bag above.

Thanks to Gerd Clemens. (2005)

lumbini01

Lumbini Airways

Unusual plastic bag with an elastic drawstring from this Nepalese carrier, "your friend in the sky". Lumbini, in case you were wondering, is the Nepalese town where Siddhharta Gautama, the Lord Buddha, was born (see Buddha Air for another airline honouring the Enlightened One).

Thanks to the Lumbini ground staff at Kathmandu airport. (1999)
