ČSA

Someone has handwritten the numbers "1192" in the side pleat of this bag. Inventory control by ČSA, or nothing more sinister than a note by the original collector of how many bags in his/her collection? (Note: it is the policy of this website not to write anything on bags, except maybe to get the pilot's signature on an otherwise plain bag. I use yellow Post-It notes instead.)

Thanks to Sam Green. (2000)

ČSA (small logo)

Smaller logo on this 2001 edition, with a star on the base.

Thanks to Pete Kovanda. (2001)

ČSA (small logo, no star)

Same bag as the one above, but a rectangle of paper glued to the base instead of the printed star. Either DeSter didn't make it, or they've disowned it.

Thanks to Pete Kovanda. (2001)

ČSA (large logo)

Goes to prove that you can put your logo anywhere you want on your bag.

Thanks to Petr Manda. (2003)

ČSA (Skyteam)

First time the Skyteam alliance has made it onto the face of a bag, rather than being confined to the base.

Thanks to Jan Tomášek (2006)

ČSA (guitar pick)

The Czech airline has ditched it old pennant logo in favour of a guitar pick.

The Skyteam squiggle is getting bigger: an alarming development. How long will it be before it dominates this carrier's bags?

Thanks to Jan Tomášek (2008)
